From Hotel Moderno it’s too easy for guests have opportunity to visit city centre of Pisa in half day trip. Going on the left side to the train station guest can take the road in front of it until the shopping street, Corso Italia.

In the end they find Logge di Banchi, a building with large arches was built in 1603-05 to host silk and woll market. On the left side there is Palazzo Gambacorti, since 1689 it is a Council of Pisa. In front of it there is Ponte di Mezzo, the central bridge and on june it is the theatre of “Gioco del Ponte”. After the bridge there is Borgo Stretto, a colonnaded street going the antique medieval wall and now it is another shopping street. In the end , on the left side , there is via U.Dini with which they can go to Piazza dei Cavalieri , heart of Pisa Republic Marine, where they can see Palazzo alla Carovana , now Scuola Normale Superiore. Going to the left there is Palazzo dell’Orologio with Torre dei Gualandi or Torre della Fame, famous In Divina Commedia of Dante Alighieri. On the right side of Scuola Normale Superiore there is Church of Cavalieri di Santo Stefano. Going to via Dei Mille they can arrive in via S.Maria to reach Piazza dei Miracoli.
